Goal & Objectives
The Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BS Accountancy) program equips students with the knowledge and skills necessary for effective management of a company’s financial resources, information and tax documents. It primarily builds on proper monitoring and documenting of the flow of resources and goods within the system and integrates legal knowledge, economics, and technology and tools necessary for practice.
The program furthermore aims to develop students’ critical thinking and analysis skills geared towards competence from theory to practice, all while inculcating Philwomenian values vital in becoming professionals committed to integrity and leadership.
The degree is a prerequisite in earning licensure as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
