The Philippine Women’s College of Davao accepts various kinds of scholarships. This includes but is not limited to athlete scholarships and and the Student Scholarship Program (SSP). The SSP envisions a robust network of institutional, community and educational partners committed to the transformation of individuals and families cognizant of the potentials of education as agent for positive change.
It is the mission of the Student Scholarship Program to provide financial assistance and related services to students who excel in academics and in sports as well as those who otherwise would not have the means to fulfill their educational goal.

For Full Scholarship
Full tuition scholarship (100%) is granted automatically to PWC students who garner the top rank (first honors) in the grade level at the end of the year.
For 75% Scholarhsip
Seventy-five percent (75%) tuition scholarship is granted to PWC students who garner the second top rank (second honors) in the grade level at the end of the year.
For 50% Scholarship
Fifty percent (50%) tuition scholarship is granted to PWC students who garner the third top rank (third honors) in the grade level at the end of the year.
This scholarship is given to the top three graduates of both public and private elementary schools. They are inherently entitled to 100%, 75% and 50% tuition fee discount respectively, provided that the number of graduates from the school that they came from is not less than 100 in the given academic year. Said data (on rank and school population) should be supported by a certification from the school principal.
However, the top three graduates from schools with less than 100 graduates can still avail of the scholarship provided they pass the Mental Ability Test administered by the school’s Guidance Center and obtain a minimum grade requirement for the entitlement.
PWC top three students are entitled to this scholarship regardless of number of graduates.

In line with the Philippine Women’s College of Davao’s aim to provide quality education particularly for those coming from the public school system, 100 top off grants will be offered in the Senior High School Department to those students from public schools who are financially challenged.
Eligibility is based solely on the assets and income of the prospective student and his or her family. Factors such as test scores or athletic ability have no bearing on this aid.

- letter from parents or guardians justifying the need for financial aid
- clear photocopy of the parents’ Annual Income Tax Return (ITR); in the absence of this document, notarized copy of Certificate of Non-Filing of Income Tax will do
- Certificate of NO/LOW Income to be obtained from the Barangay
This scholarship is given to senior high school valedictorians and salutatorians of public and private high schools. They are inherently entitled 100% and 50% tuition fee discount respectively, provided that the number of graduates from the school they came from is not less than 100 in that given academic year. Said data (on rank and school population) should be supported by a certification from the school principal.
However, valedictorians and salutatorians from schools with less than 100 graduates can still avail of the scholarship provided they pass the Mental Ability Test administered by the school’s Guidance Center and obtain the minimum grade requirement for the entitlement.
PWC valedictorians and salutatorians are entitled to this scholarship regardless of the number of graduates.
The scholarship granted to valedictorians and salutatorians is extended up to their final year in College (4th year) provided they meet the maintaining grade requirement as follows:
A weighed percentage average grade of at least 1.5 (95%) with no grade below 2.2 (88%) for full tuition fee discount and a WPA of at least 2.0 (90%) with no grade below 2.2 (88%) for 50% tuition fee discount.

The Student Assistance Program is designed to provide PWC college students with financial support in their pursuit of their academic goals and provide opportunities for academic or administrative job experience. The job duties and responsibilities of student assistants vary greatly and may not be related to their field of study.
The Student Assistance Program is open to students who desire to earn to a college degree, but need financial assistance. Students who qualify attend evening classes and work five days a week for seven hours during weekdays. He/she enjoys free tuition and miscellaneous fees and a daily allowance of Php 100.00 for the duration of the student-assistant’s inclusion in the program.
Qualification for Applicants
- A high school graduate with a final average grade (WPA) of not lower than 80% with no failing grade during the final grading period during his/her senior year.
- Willing to work in an office setting or can do manual labor.
- Possesses good moral character, with good work attitude and motivation to succeed in his/her academic pursuits.
- Belongs to a family/household with low or no income.
The PWC Sports Scholarship program is primarily designed to help and support athletes to achieve their potential. It is awarded to an individual student based predominantly on his or her ability to play a certain sport.
The program is intentionally funded by the Philippine Women’s College of Davao. However, grants from interested benefactors – acknowledged and approved by the school administration, may be accepted.
The Sports Scholarship Program mainly focuses on giving financial assistance to qualified PWC Students who show exemplary performance both as an athlete and as a student.
The members of the Varsity Team are not automatically eligible to the sports scholarship.
