Korean musicians take RSM stage
Korean musicians shared the gift of music to the PWC community in the event entitled “All for Love: A Musical Performance by Korean Artists” held last July 31, 2019 at the RSM Events Center.
The program opened with a live violin rendition of the Philippine National Anthem, followed by South Korea’s National Anthem and the Davao City Hymn.
Ms. Brenda Z. Barba, Program Director of the Fine Arts Department delivered the opening remarks. Pastor Peter Jongsu Kim, Senior Pastor of Matina Christian Church then took the podium to introduce the performers.
The performing group composed of young musicians took the spotlight and delighted the audience with their fun choreography and skills with the ukulele and violin.
Other numbers included violin solo/duo and a vocal performance which showcased an impressive variety of genres, ranging from classic, pop and even movie tunes.
As gesture of appreciation, PWC then awarded certificates and tokens to the performers.
Center for Professional and Career Development coordinator Mr. Wilfred Dexter G. Tañedo closed the program, expressing gratitude to the performers and their mentors.
