PWC Davao Tourism Students Win Big at Davao City Tourism Skills Olympics 2026
The Philippine Women’s College of Davao proudly joined the Davao City Tourism Skills Olympics 2026, held last September 30 at the SM City Davao Annex Event Center, bringing together Tourism students from 13 local tourism schools to showcase their skills, creativity, and industry knowledge.
PWC Tourism students exhibited their capabilities and proudly emerged as winners in the following: Grand Winner Tour Guiding Competition- Jasmine Pañares; 2nd Place in Tourism Circuit Development- Jamelle Mae M. Merencillo and Lord Antoni B. Montoya; 2nd Place in Tourism Brochure Creation- Allen Rex D. Barbarona; 2nd Place in Travel Photography- Sherlaine Faye C. Ong; and 2nd Place in Tourism Investment Pitch- Veniece Joy E. Estrada and April Boy C. Fajardo.
These wins were made possible through the guidance of their respective coaches, Keith Justin Par (Tour Guiding), Aprealle Jeah Manguiob (Tourism Circuit Development), Chrisvea A. Crespo (Tourism Investment Pitch), Jeziel Caliao (Tourism Video Creation), and Robin Gopez (Event Planning Challenge (MICE & Festival) with Digital Tourism Marketing).
Organized by the Davao City Tourism Operations Office (DCTOO) under the City Government of Davao, the competition served as a training ground for future tourism professionals to sharpen their skills and prepare themselves for the evolving demands of the industry.
