PWC ranks 2nd in street dance competition
Students from the PWC Tertiary Education Department once again showcased Philwomenian talent with their exemplary performance in the Felcris Interschool Street Dance Competition held last December 8, 2018 at the Almendras Gym.
Garnering a total score of 82.41%, PWC ranked 2nd among 15 participating schools from Davao City. The University of Mindanao claimed 1st place while the University of Immaculate Conception followed PWC at 3rd place.
PWC’s team was composed of 7 students from the Business Administration department, 2 from Information Technology, and 1 from Hospitality Management.
PWC was also notably named champion for the Hip Hop Dance Competition during the YES Bootcamp held August this year.

Other participating schools were Malayan Colleges Mindanao, Bernardo Carpio National High School, San Pedro College, Davao City National High School, Davao Doctors College, Sta. Ana National High School, Rizal Memorial Colleges, Cor Jesu College, Jose Maria College, Davao Chong Hua High School, MATS College of Technology, and AMA Computer College Davao.
Felcris Group partnered with GMA Regional TV for the event and had it publicized as early as October. In a press release, the homegrown company stated that the competition was a way of giving back to the community and strengthening its brand.
Special awards included the Shoppers’ Choice Award in which shoppers voted at the mall branches and the Online Choice Award, voted through Facebook.
