The Philippine Women’s College of Davao was host to several sporting events of the Davao Association of Catholic Schools (DACS). Aside from various games of the PWC bracket that were played out on campus, PWC of Davao also hosted about 100 Chess Players at the RSM Events Center.
The DACS sport fest is an annual inter-school competition featuring the best and the most competitive athletes from the catholic schools in Davao Region.
The PWC of Davao Gym was host to the school’s basketball outings in bracket C, wherein Philwomenians managed to reach respectable positions, not just in basketball, but in all the competitions the school took part in.
Schools that featured in various games all over the PWC campus include Holy Cross College of Sasa (HCCS), San Pedro College (SPC), Holy Cross of Bunawan (HCB), and Holy Cross of Mintal (HCM) whom the PWC Patriots fought in the different basketball matches of bracket C.
“I am proud of the different achievements of our student athletes have accomplished at DACS”, said School Sports Development Office (SSDO) Director Leah M. Cabang .
The DACS Sportsfest will be held at Saint Mary’s College in Tagum from September 25 – 30.
