DOT-XI and DA-XI Partner with PWC of Davao for “Buwan ng Kalutong Pilipino” Celebration
The Department of Tourism-XI and the Department of Agriculture-XI proudly partnered with the Philippine Women’s College of Davao through its Hospitality and Tourism Management programs for a vibrant “Buwan ng Kalutong Pilipino” celebration from April 25-27, 2025, at Ayala Malls Abreeza. This collaboration shone a spotlight on the rich tapestry of Filipino cuisine and culture, with PWC of Davao playing a significant role.
Selected Hospitality Management students captivated audiences with a cooking demonstration, presenting innovative twists on traditional dishes. The Salin’lahi Dance Artist Ensemble also enchanted attendees with their cultural performance, complemented by captivating songs from talented Tourism students. PWC of Davao’s kitchen laboratories further served as a dynamic hub for a “market to table” cooking experience, welcoming participants from various academic institutions.
