SHS celebrates Math Science Technology Culmination 2018
Having successfully piloted senior high school in Davao, PWC continues to foster learning aligned to its culture of innovation. Intellect, creativity, and teamwork were all evident in the SHS department’s Math Science Technology culmination program last October 12, 2018 at the RSM Events Center. With the theme “PWC Goes Viral: Spreading the Philwomenian Innovation Through Math, Science and Technology”, students competed in teams according to their academic track, namely the Earth Tremblers(TV 1), Wind Crushers(STEM/ICT), Fire Blazers(TV 2), Water Cruisers(ABM), and Metal Scorchers(HUMSS).
The “JUST” Chants Competition started off as the first main event where teams delivered compelling messages using different performance concepts. It was followed by a seminar conducted by resource speaker Kenny LLoyd Angon, executive director of Project Indigenius and Board Chair of Mindanaoan Youth Development Center, Inc. who discussed responsible social media use and digital advocacies.
Other events for the day included Photo Essay, Quiz Drill, Super Race, Enjoy-neering, Environment Walk, Debattle, and Scientific Invention/Innovation Proposal.

In the end, the Metal Scorchers were declared the Overall Champion for this year’s Math Science Technology event. 1st runner-up were the Wind Crushers, followed by the Water Cruisers, Earth Tremblers, and Fire Blazers in order of ranking.
