OVP at 90: Duty, Continuity, Legacy – The Vice Presidents of the Philippines Pop-Up Exhibit!
In celebration of the 90th anniversary of the Office of the Vice President (OVP), the Philippine Women’s College of Davao proudly hosted the Pop-Up Exhibit featuring the 14 Vice Presidents of the Philippines, officially launched on February 23 at the Mandaya Lobby.
The ceremony opened with messages from Mr. Samuel A. Libre Jr., Assistant Satellite Lead of the OVP-Southern Mindanao Satellite Office, who shared the goals of the exhibit which is to promote understanding and unity, honor the sacrifices of those who fought for freedom, and inspire future generations. He also read a message from the Vice President herself, emphasizing that “the ultimate goal of this Pop-Up is to share history with the Filipino people—a cornerstone of our nation’s milestones”.
PWC President, Mr. Emmanuel Q. Canivel delivered the message of welcome, expressing gratitude to the OVP for choosing PWC as the host venue and reaffirming the College’s commitment to education, leadership, and national service.
The event concluded with the ribbon-cutting ceremony led by President Canivel and Mr. Libre, officially opening the exhibit to the PWC Community.
The Pop-Up Exhibit will be available for viewing from February 23 to March 9, 2026, at the Mandaya Lobby. This invites everyone to rediscover history and celebrate the extraordinary legacy of the country’s Vice Presidents.
