Forging Continuous Partnerships: PWC and TESDA Region XI Officials Hold Productive Meeting
PWC and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Region XI officials met last February 17, 2023, to discuss common interests and potential collaborations. The meeting was attended by Prof. Vicente Antonio V. Pijano III, PWC Chancellor and COO, Dr. James Michael I. Salvador, CPCD Head, Ms. Mary Jane B. Belenson, Chief staff- Office of the Chancellor, Prof. Emi Englis, CISV Head, Dr. Rey Japay, IPDQA Director, Prof. Cherry Tecala, HMTM Cluster Director, Mr. Ray Manglicmot and Ms. Rosemarie Lamoste, PWC TVET Staff and TESDA Provincial Director Mr. Adonis Culas and his staff.
During the meeting, both parties discussed fostering programs for internationalization and future collaborations to improve the quality of education and skills training in the region. The PWC officials expressed their commitment to providing more opportunities for their students and graduates to obtain TESDA certification, which can boost their employability in various industries.
