Musical – Highlights

In celebration of National Arts Month 2026, the 9th Generation of Arts and Design students of the Philippine Women’s College of Davao successfully staged a musical play.
The production took the audience through a powerful journey of Jacinto’s delirious mind as he drifts between life and death after being shot—merging dreams, reliving memories, and reflections that illuminate his revolutionary spirit, portraying the courage and brilliance of the young general.
Through this performance, our young artists ignite the same spark of patriotism, creativity, and courage that inspired one of our nation’s greatest heroes.
Congratulations to our Arts and Design students for a compelling performance that honors history and creativity—truly embodying the theme of National Arts Month: “Likha, Ani ng Sining: Katotohanan at Giting—Sining, Inobasyon, at Pamayanan.” This play is a glowing testament to the power of art which is to inspire, to awaken, and to keep the spark of patriotism alive in every heart.
