The month-long exhibition Inawl: Shared Woven Traditions of Maguindanao in BARMM culminates in Kudungan sa Inawl, a three-part program that honors the artistry of the Inaul while envisioning its future in contemporary design, fashion, and lifestyle.
The event, called Kudungan sa Inawl, brings together weaving communities, designers, cultural supporters, and the public to celebrate the Inaul, a traditional cloth that is both a part of our history and a new creative idea. Inawl: Shared Woven Traditions of Maguindanao in BARMM is a cultural exhibition mounted in partnership with the BARMM Ministry of Trade, Investments, and Tourism, Mindanao Trade Expo Foundation, Inc., the Davao Fashion and Design Council Foundation, Inc., and the Philippine Women’s College of Davao. The exhibition showcases the artistry, history, and living traditions of Inaul weaving, amplifying its role as a cultural treasure and creative force.
