PWC BSHM places 3rd in Binulig Festival competition
A renowned institution to offer HRM course in Davao, PWC continues to engage in intercollegiate competitions as participants from the program competed last October 18, 2018 at the Binulig Festival Pastry Culinary and Table Setting Competitions held at the ARF Gym, Panabo City.
Under the mentorship of coaches Rabbie Kyle Garcia and Julie Legaspi, the students participated in 3 out of 4 events and placed third in each: cake decorating, banana coffee, and bartending competitions.
“It is important to open the students’ minds to the competing world of hospitality management events,” said Mr. Garcia, “these competitions provide a platform for them to show skills as well as bring prestige to the school and uplift their self-esteem.”
The department selected students from the pool of participants that competed in the Tuna Festival Skills Olympics held in General Santos City last September.
