PWC-SHS teams clash in Intramurals 2018

As PWC aims to offer quality senior high school in Davao, it ensures student growth beyond academics. The SHS Intramurals 2018 was definitely a test of physical and intellectual prowess, sportsmanship, and character as the Yellow Manticore, Purple Hippogriff, Green Minotaur, Blue Hydra, and the Red Cerberus competed last November 6-9, 2018, with the theme “Promoting the Philwomenian Integrity and Camaraderie Through Sports and Recreation”.

The banner raising event kickstarted the first day in a symbolic gesture of the colors’ will to dominate this year. Teams also gathered later on to cheer and witness the Powercheerdance, Lipsync, Storytelling, Mega Crew, and MTV Spoof competitions in a spectacle of competitive entertainment.

The search for Mr. and Ms. PWC was one of the most anticipated events, eliciting the loudest cheers for every representative that took the runway. In the end, Mr. Xerwyne Ongko of the Red Cerberus and Ms. Aljheane Castañares of the Green Minotaur took home the crown, bringing immense pride to their teams.

Other competition categories throughout this year’s Intramurals included Indoor Games, Palarong Pinoy, Literary Events, and Ball Games.

The culmination and awarding ceremony took place on November 9, 2018, ending with the sweeping victory of the Red Cerberus as the overall champion, followed by Blue Hydra, Purple Hippogriff, Green Minotaur, and Yellow Manticore, by order of ranking.
