Mindanao folk Arts Museum and Studies Center Revisits Mindanao Culture

Mindanao is an island with a unique diversity of people who are proud of the ethnicity of their culture. It is home to different indigenous groups and to settlers from Luzon and the Visayas.

The Mindanao Folk Arts Museum and Studies Center highlight traditions reflected in a collection of artifacts that are interwoven with ancestral folk tales. It is envisioned that the consciousness and understanding of the deep historical roots of Mindanaoans will enhance the unity, harmony and mutual respect amongst its peoples.

The new museum is now integrated in the Tertiary Learning Resource Center at the 4th Floor of Mansaka Building.
