The Philippine Women’s College of Davao participated in the recent 9th APSCUR Culture and Arts Competition 2018. The two-day event was held at two different venues, with the academic events taking place at Jose Maria College and the performing arts and pageant hosted by the RSM Events Center of the Philippine Women’s College of Davao.
PWC has send out a handful of participants to compete in the various events. Many of them were able to secure respectable placements in their respective competitions. The PWC of Davao contingents managed to place 3rd in the Photojournalism Competition and the Spoken Poetry Competition. In other competitions, the TED students were able to place 4th in Story Telling and Poster Interpretation. PWC also competed in the Extemporaneous Speaking competition.
On the second and final day of the 9th APSCUR Davao Cluster elimination, the PWC contestants for GInoo at Binibining Pamantasan were both able to secure a top three finish, thus qualifying for the regionals this coming February. The contingents of PWC scored 1st Place for the Ginoong Pamantasan and 2nd Place for Binibining Pamantasan.
Also joining the dazzling and handsome folks for the regional will be the 3rd placers for Spoken Poetry and Photojournalism.
