PWC students of the Fine Arts and Interior Design programs went on an Annual National Creative Industry Educational and Exposure Tour last October 18-21, 2018.

31 senior students from 5 programs participated in the tour, accompanied by members of the faculty.

Day one of the tour was spent on a visit to the National Museum of Fine Arts, also known as the Anthropology Museum of the Filipino People and the Museum of National History. The group then proceeded to Okada, Solaire, and City of Dreams to explore thematic revivals and experience multisensorial design.

On day two, the group visited Pinto Art Museum in Antipolo which showcased a blend of art, nature, and culture featuring works from contemporary art winners.

Day three kicked off with revisiting history as the group explored Fort Santiago, Intramuros, the Rizal Museum, and Luneta Park. They then proceeded to attend the Manila FAME, Philippines’ premier design and lifestyle event which is held every April and October in time for Design Week Philippines.  The event provides an avenue for local designers and artisans to showcase home, fashion, interior and architectural pieces to the global exports market.

At Manila FAME, Region XI was represented by Mindanao Trade Expo where PWC Interior Design Faculty Ian Manglicmot served as exhibition space designer. [Click here to learn about PWC BS Interior Design course in Davao]
