PWC welcomed a total of 5,223 enrollees for school year 2019-2020 in the final count as of July 8, 2019.

This exhibits an overall 12% increase from last year’s student population of 4,656.

A huge bulk of the number comes from the Senior High School Department, which increased to 2,466 from last year’s 2,128. This number is being managed through the retention of the morning and afternoon shifts and also the construction of the FCB Building, the latter addressing the lack of classrooms which was among the main challenges in the previous school year.

The Tertiary Education Department population also rose to 1,881 from 1,678. Enrollees for courses that were launched last school year such as BS Accountancy, BS Psychology, and Bachelor of Physical Education have at least doubled in number. PWC’s offering of both unique and in-demand courses paired with schedule shift options draw in enrollees including those from the working sector, contributing to the increasing trend in the enrolment rate over the years.

An observed decrease in the Basic Education Department is mainly attributed to fewer enrollees in the Modified Work and Study Program (MWSP), PWC’s Sunday schedule for Junior High. Preschool up to regular Junior High, on the other hand, collectively delivered a 7% increase from the previous year.

PWC Ciudades campus accommodated 24 enrollees in its opening year. Classes for the pioneer batch will be starting on July 15, 2019.
